About the author:
This is a sweet story about love, adventure, forgiveness and family.
Georgina, aka Gigi, is invited to go on a European art tour with her aunt. Gigi plans to design clothes and works part time for a dressmaker. This would be the perfect opportunity. Aunt Rowena claims she needs a companion because she’s getting old, even though Rowena’s friends are coming. It almost feels like pity but Gigi takes it for a grand adventure.
The professor who will take the tour to all the museums just happens to be young and single. And Gigi happens to be the only young participant in the tour. Rowena sets to matchmaking but the professor claims to be a bachelor forevermore.
This was a fun book hearing about different places on the tour (what’s that?! Covid definitely changed that😅), Aunt Rowena and her friends totally reminded me of the Golden Girls and come on- one of them is named Blanche 😉 so that was great when they were together. I enjoyed Gigi and Clyde (prof’s name) finding time together.
The book threw a few twists that I wasn’t expecting. There’s still the mystery of Nicholas.
This is book 3 in the Romance on the Orient Express but they can be read as stand alones. I have not read book 1 or 2 but I plan to! Thank you to the publisher for an ebook to read and review. These are my own thoughts and opinions.
